Cathy has over 35 years of experience working stock dogs. She started competing in 1985 in ASCA trials and in Border Collie trials in 1990. She has since obtained multiple titles in ASCA, AKC, AHBA and qualified multiple years for the USBCHA cattle and sheep finals. She has competed in the USBCHA Cattle Dog Finals.
Cathy holds judging cards for AKC, AHBA, USBCHA and CKC (Canadian Kennel Club). She has judged all over the US and in Canada. She has also judged at both the Border Collie and Australian National Specialties.
She lives on a working farm in Virginia and uses her dogs daily to complete farm chores. She raises sheep, goats and Highland cattle and uses her dogs in every manner. She trains various working breeds and understands the difference in each.
