Jen L’Arrivée is a seasoned stock dog trainer and the founder of Doré River Border Collies, based in McBride, British Columbia. With over 30 years of experience, she specializes in training Border Collies for livestock handling, focusing on calm and efficient techniques honed through decades of practice. Her journey into stock dog training began unexpectedly during her university years, where she shifted from retail aspirations to working with sheep and cattle—a transition she describes as life-changing.

Jen will be working with a group of novice dogs and novice handlers to help them understand and implement effective and efficient training techniques that can help them optimize the learning experience for both dog and handler. The clinic is located at Collie Creek Farm in Qualicum, British Columbia, Canada. Audit spots are $75/day, plus a $3 sanctioning fee for the BC Stock Dog Association
