Pr1ma is a small, tough, no-nonsense working collie who will herd anything. She is ALL about the work. Biddable, smart and nicely tempered, she has explosive power and fears nothing. Sensibly yields to older dogs but not to stock. Pr1ma is the product of Ormond Mirk, sired by 2022 International Supreme Champion and 2023 Reserve Champion, Jock, and Sue, sired by Jock’s son, 2025 International Supreme Champion, Clwyd Bob. This is a 6.5% CoI around Jock. Maternal grandmother is my toughest female and top breeder, James McCloskey’s Nel. Nel is the mother of grandmother of all my young dogs and pups. Nel breeds tough, resilient, forward dogs.
Pr1ma would be excellent on cattle or sheep. She is forward, fast, smart and resilient. Tough as full grain leather, her grit, toughness, smarts, biddability, agility and speed define her. She is fully vaccinated. Free of genetic diseases by parentage. Being offered at a reduced price (2/3 what I normally charge for pups) because I am leaving the country 1-June and can take only a small number of dogs with me. Also, Pr1ma wants work every day, all day. Since I am breeding and training, that leaves only a slice of time for Prima. And it is a shame to let the talent, enthusiasm and energy go to waste. When fully trained, Pr1ma will be able to run an entire farm. She is the Energizer Bunny of working collies …she just keeps going!
