About Campbell:

Campbell will be working with the intermediate/advanced group.

With over 30 years of experience in the stock dog world, Campbell Forsyth brings a wealth of knowledge, skill, and dedication to the field. Throughout his career, he has competed extensively across a wide range of stock dog disciplines, earning numerous accolades and establishing himself as a respected and accomplished handler.

Beyond his success in competition, Campbell is deeply committed to the growth of the stock dog community. He is well known for his willingness to support and mentor new and upcoming handlers, always encouraging others to push their limits and continue developing their skills. His approachable nature, combined with his depth of experience, makes him a valued clinician and an inspiring presence both in and out of the trial arena.

George Clark

About George:

George will be working with the beginner/puppy group.

George is a well-known character in the cattle dog trialing world. He has served on the Canadian Cattle Dog Association both as a board member, vice president and president. He has organized multiple dog trials both in Alberta and currently in Manitoba. The Rorketon Ripper has been a growing event that is now organized by many members of the community. A locals class is offered to people in the area that want to join the dog trialing community with a one-on-one clinic with George prior to competing. He has mentored many people from this event to join the stock dog community.
George enjoys competing both in the horseback and open classes at trials. His highlight of the year is competing at Agribition where he enjoys socializing and competing in front of a large group of spectators from all over.
Although many know George in the stock dog world, he has a whole other side. Spade Ranch, located at Rorketon Manitoba takes up much of his time where his family run 900 head of cattle. George carefully selects his dogs to have the grit to cover a huge amount of extremely rough terrain every day while still being able to finesse cow/calf pairs. George has passed down his stock dog training abilities to all 4 of his kids which he is proud of but has caused him many gray hairs as he will tell you.
George has been a clinician at Making of a Stock Dog since its inception, developed by Kevin Donald and his wife Carol, and is amazed at how it continually grows and attracts new handlers. George is a well-liked clinician that is known for his Georgisms to drive home a point. “You get what you ask for.”

Jamie Wagner

About Jamie:

Jamie will be working with the young/green dog group:

We are excited to have Jamie come share his highly successful puppy starting methods with us. He’s especially gifted at unlocking a young dogs talents , setting them up for success as useful partners on the ranch or trial. Jamie and his family ranch near Fox Valley in the south west corner of Saskatchewan, where they run cow calf pairs as well as yearlings.

“I have always had sic’em type of border collies, using them to drive, but it wasn’t until 2020 that I bought an unstarted dog called West from Jamie Gardner that border collies became an integral part of our operation.
West was a lot of dog but also very natural and he had good natural balance. He took to training quickly, teaching me more than I taught him. I also got many pointers along the way from handlers such as Jamie Gardner, Milt Scott, Corey Perry, and Dale Montgomery. I started training more pups and things just took off from there. I’ve trained and sold many pups to top handlers and they’ve also sent me their pups to get started. I also enjoy sheep and cattle trials when time allows.”
