Hondu is an intact registered coming 4 year old Border Collie ready to go on with.
He’s been successfully trialed in the Novice and Intermediate on both cattle and sheep. However, I feel he’s best suited for cattle. I have also used him extensively on the ranch.
Hondu can be ran off voice or whistles and can be worked on foot, horse back or side by side. He is fast and prefers the head. He will get in front and stop anything moving out, but will also drive. He’s became my main using dog and my go to when I need to get a job done by myself. He isn’t one to run stock through a fence or create more work for you. However, he can be strong and fight the stop a bit. This is why I have taken a step back from trialing him.
He is great around kids, he will work for my daughter. Crate trained, house trained, travels well and good with farm animals.
