At Saltwater Stockdogs we are looking to breed working border collies. First and foremost, we focus on breeding highly motivated dogs that live to work. Saltwater dogs like people, are brought up around kids and are easy to live with but they exist to work livestock. This is the absolute goal of our program.
Next, we focus on physical structure and genetic clearance of deficiencies. Our dogs should be heat resistant and free from musculoskeletal abnormalities or history of soft tissue injuries. We import our breeding bitches from the UK and use live and AI studs who have competed and won at the highest levels in the world.
