Cappy Pruett is an experienced all breed handler and stock dog clinician. He has been hired to clinics for past 30 years throughout the United States, Canada, Australia, and Europe. He is a competitive open/advanced handler in all herding venues having won countless cattle trials hosted by the NCA-National Cattle Dog Association. Cappy has also been Grand Champion of the sheep dog competition at the National Western Stock Show in Denver multiple times and the Open Ranch Sheep Dog trial at the Minnesota State Fair.
What to expect from a Cappy Clinic: Cappy focuses on training in a calm quiet fashion. Emphasis is placed on teaching the dog how to manage livestock and listen to the handler versus placing the dog to get through a course. The handler is shown how to enforce the things they ask for and how to develop a positive relationship with the dog.
You may sign up for either day or both days. Entrants choosing to participate on both days will be given preference. Clinic registrations will be accepted (postmarked) from March 15th until the clinic fills. Payment must be included with your registration. If the clinic fills, a waiting list will be available for those who are interested. If the clinic fills and you do not want to be on the waiting list, your entry and fees will be returned.
