Cathy Sumeracki has been training dogs for 20 years and has an amazing ability to read dogs and provide insight on how to get into the mind of a dog. She has a great eye for detail and how to work with handlers to maximize their connection and competitive edge. Cathy is successful as a competitor in time and points and has multiple champions in AHBA, AKC, ASCA. She runs her own small ranch/full-service herding facility in Ignacio, CO and competes regularly.
Hana Fullmer
About Hana:
Hana Fullmer apprenticed under Cathy and now has her own full-service herding facility (Tierra Vida Farms). Hana is excellent with newly started people and has a quiet, patient teaching style. Her real-life experience using dogs in goat herding brings practical application to her teaching. When clinics and camps overfill, Hana is brought in to help facilitate and teach so each person gets plenty of work time.

Clinic Details
This is for those who have a solid started dog and are ready to fine tune their foundation and drive/continue driving. You’ll work with sheep, geese and goats to perfect and stretch the gather, get square flanks, gain driving confidence, do small pen work and more. Downloadable material for follow up homework and key exercises are included.
You can come for both days or sign up for a single day.
: $50 per slot each day; includes link to download camp materials and lunch
Refund Policy
: $100 non refundable deposit to hold spot.
-Fees are per dog slot. Participants are welcome to bring multiple dogs under one slot and choose which dog to use for each exercise. For example, you can bring two dogs under one slot and choose which dog to use for the exercise.
Camps are a mix of work in the ring, work with livestock and lecture.
A five-acre full service facility set up for herding. 100 X 200 arena, 60 X 100 arena, set out pens, small arenas (2) round pen and 330 X 300 field. Kennels/shade/inside gathering area. Just bring your dog and yourself. Inside building for lunch/chat and video review (if requested)
