June 1 to July 4, 2025 for the Kingston SDT
Check CBCA website for entry details for the CBCA Championships. Note that CBCA membership and dog registration (both required to participate in the CBCA Championships) has a June 1 deadline.
The 2025 CBCA sheepdog championships will be held in conjunction with the Kingston Sheepdog Trials (Kingston Trial 1 is Aug 6-7 and Trial 2 is Aug 8-9) at Grass Creek Park, Kingston, ON, August 5-10, 2025. Judges will be Andy Carnegie and Neil McVicar, both of Scotland. They are well known to handlers who competed at Grass Creek in 2022. As of March 1, the NEBCA website stated that CBCA Nursery Championships will run on Aug 5 and the CBCA Open Championships will run on Aug 10. Always check directly with the trial organizer as your even approaches.
Handlers are reminded that dogs must be CBCA registered and handlers CBCA members to be eligible for the Double Lift Final and the Nursery Championship. Deadline for membership and registration is June 1 (information and forms are available on the CBCA website canadianbordercollies.org).
