McCormack Ranch SDT

• 2 Open, 2 Nursery, 1 Pro-Novice
• Judge: Jack Knox
• The trial will be a PUBLIC EVENT and FUNDRAISER for a legal defense fund to aid local farmers negatively affected by local large land purchases. 
• Sheep: McCormack Ranch commercial South African Merino ewes. Young and unshorn.
• Course: Hill field, no more than 650 yards for Open and no more than 350 yards for Nursery/Pro Novice. A challenging course with multiple hills and steep California rangeland terrain. Any excessively rash behavior, abuse of dog or sheep, will result in disqualification at judge’s discretion. Again, THIS IS A PUBLIC EVENT.
• Covid-19 Guidelines: Handlers are strongly encouraged to follow recommended Covid-19 guidelines and do not attend if you are sick.
• Dog Health Guidelines: Dogs must be vaccinated with Rabies and DAPP for entrance onto the Ranch. Do not attend if your dog is ill. There will be no shared water buckets provided by trial host. Bring and fill your own water bucket. There will be a water truck easily accessible.
