My name is Chris Jobe, and I am the proud owner and trainer at Canine Solutions.
Border collies became a fundamental part of my life back in 1994 when I ventured into ranching. After welcoming my first border collie, ‘Tuck’, into my life, I dedicated a significant portion of my time to training and working with these incredible dogs.
In 1999, I participated in my inaugural sheepdog trial with a dog that I personally trained and have been captivated by the “trial fever” ever since. I’ve had the privilege of learning from some of the world’s top dog handlers.
My primary objective is to breed, nurture, and train top-notch all-around working border collies. I carefully select dogs based on their instinct, work intensity, friendly demeanor, outgoing nature, and ability to maintain focus during various challenges.
Chris and her team of highly skilled border collies have undertaken projects all across North America, such as gathering and herding wild cattle, sheep, and reindeer on the Aleutian Islands in Alaska, managing 1800 ewes in northern BC, and working in various national parks for wildlife control and herding purposes.
