I started with an Australian Cattle dog in 1999 and migrated to Border Collies in 2006.  Between now and then have worked with Corgis, Collies, Bouviers, English Shepherds, Malinois, Australian Shepherds, Shags, Shelties, and a few more. 

Two of my own dogs qualified for and competed on the US Team to the World Championships in 2017 and 2023.  With that, I very much enjoy training for chores and farm work as well.

The goal is to find as much of the instinct a dog has within, bring it to the surface and then balance with biddability to create a good partnership for the ranch or trial field.  Always looking for a thinking dog.
