Sergio Perello Herding Clinics/Lessons

 On Sept 28th and 29th we’re going to have a judging clinic where Sergio will go over all aspects of judging and then participants will run their dogs on a course while the others practice judging and after each run Sergio will go over everyone’s score card. In addition to the judging clinic there will be two sanctioned nursery trials (Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning) which Sergio will judge and clinic participants can practice judging in a separate area and when the trial is finished, Sergio will go over everyone’s score sheets.

Judging clinic will be $225 per day with an auditor spot being $100 per day. No meals will be provided. Auditors can listen and watch but do not participate in the judging practice with Sergio or running dogs on the course. Dogs need to be able to complete an open/pro novice/nusery course and under good control.

Private lessons will be $180/hour. Open to any level handler or dog. Private lessons dates are Sept 30 through Oct 3 and a second opportunity Oct 14-16  

Started dog clinic will be October 4th. $200 for a working slot. AM and PM work, up to 2 young dogs allowed. This is for lightly started or totally unstarted young dogs. The more green the better! It’ll be held at my arena with smaller areas to work.

On October 5th and 6th we’ll be having a coached non sanctioned trial where Sergio will either stand with you to help you handle or stay back and judge your run and then go over the score with you and what areas need improvement. Also on the 5th and 6th there will be another sanctioned nursery trial, one Saturday afternoon and the second one Sunday morning.

Coached trial (Oct 5/6) will be $100 per run. 15 dog limit per day. Second dog per handler allowed if room permits. Dogs need to be open/pro novice/nursery level. Will be big field and dogs must be under good control. Spectating is no problem, it’ll sort of be like watching a trial. Spectators and other participants will not be close enough to hear any instruction from Sergio, it’ll be one on one help.

If there’s enough interest, there could be a one day clinic after Oct 6th strictly for starting young dogs.

Payment due in full by Sept 16th, electronic payment preferred. Waivers signed upon arrival. Refunds with vet signed paper or if spot can be filled.
