This clinic is intended to help herding enthusiasts move beyond basics and let them believe they and their dogs can trial. Saturday, May 10, will be a Junior Herding Dog class. Dogs do short outruns to gather stock and they use fences and obstacles to show their fetching and balancing ability.
Sunday, May 11, is a Herding RanchDog class designed to move stock through obstacles and arenas that are used in their daily settings. Gates and settling/sorting exercises may be included depending on skill level. This class will likely include both fetching and driving.
8AM start time and the class will last until the Trial Briefing at 3:00 PM each day. You may register for the trial for a reduced fee if you do so at the time you register for the clinic.
