I started with border collies in 1996, training dogs for farmers who had both sheep and cattle. I started trialing in 2001 and between 2001 and 2012 was 8-time Brazilian National Champion between cattle and sheep. In 2012 I received an invitation to compete at Soldier Hollow Sheepdog Classic (made it to the Double Lift and finished in 9th place) and once again received an invite in 2013, 2019 and 2023 (made it to the double lift and finished in 13th place). In 2013 I immigrated to the USA and since then I have competed in 7 USBCHA Finals, made the semis in 5 of the finals and made it to the double lift 4 times and in 2021 USBCHA Finals I was awarded “Best Pen”. I don’t compete a lot, but since 2013 my accomplishments have been: Promising Young Dog at Vashon Sheepdog Classic twice, 2019 Vashon Sheepdog Overall Open Champion, Catbird Sheepdog Trial Champion two times, NW Championship Overall Champion three times, Sheep Thrillz Champion two times, made the semi’s twice at Meeker Sheepdog Classic and in 2020 I made The USA World Trial Team with Ben (but was cancelled due to COVID). I have over 35 open wins on various types of sheep, ranging from farm flock, commercial flock and range sheep.
