We will focus on owners of herding breeds that want a judgement free way to try the sport or are competing at the novice level.

Robin is known for her patient approach to teaching and her infectious enthusiasm for the sport.
Belinda Head will cover young dog and puppy development, focusing on building drive, desire and relationships in our youngsters. Belinda’s background is in agility and movie animal training.
This exclusive retreat will be limited to 12 working participants (with adult dogs old enough to work sheep, or pups and adolescents for the puppy development part of the course). There will be only 6 auditing spots (including all tuition and social events) to allow for the group to bond, ask questions, and really “jam“ dog training. Participants from other dog disciplines or pet owners who want to try things out for the first time are all welcome.
Goals
Participants will have a wonderful experience enjoying our beautiful wine country setting while deepening their bond with their dogs and building lasting relationships with other handlers from all over.
Instruction will be partly classroom-based but mostly outdoors in the round pen or arena courses. Plentiful parking is available.
